She currently serves as the Chief of Family Medicine at UPMC Magee Women’s Hospital, and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine. She is the Centering Pregnancy Director and the FMOB Director at the UPMC Shadyside Family Medicine Residency Program. A Keynote Speaker at the Inaugural Annual Pennsylvania Consortium Centering Healthcare Institute in 2025, she is a true advocate for Women’s Health and Maternity Care. She has been awarded for her Innovative Model of Care in Centering Pregnancy-a project that has raised awareness about the importance of Fourth Trimester Care and more importantly, eliminating racial disparities in maternal mortality.

Dr. Row is a Dr. Mom, Family Doc, Baby Deliverer, Mentor, and The WoMBMAN: The Working Mother Balancing Medicine And Nurturing. She is a true advocate of “Me” time, “We” time, and “She” time as the principles of maintaining work-life harmony and wellness in a busy woman’s everyday life. She believes in the Principles of Growing Dr. Row’s GLOW (Gratitude.Love.Optimism.Wellness.)

She believes in women empowering the next generation with intelligence, confidence, diligence, tenacity, and grace, and surrounding oneself with women who will inspire you and who will elevate you…and allow you to practice the “Power of I Can!” Dr. Row started the first grant-funded pilot Mentorship Project at UPMC called The MoMM (Motherhood and Mentorship in Medicine) Project: Mentoring the next generation of Women in Medicine. This is a diverse multi-generational and multi-specialty mentorship program in medicine, with an equity of mentorship in the 5-Tiered Stages of Academic and Medical careers.

Grateful and blessed, Dr. Row believes in the power of intergenerational mentorship and continues to be inspired by the five generations of women in her family (The Matriarch, her 101-year-old Grandmother and her Mom), who have paved the way for the success she enjoys today. As a proud mentor of Strong Woman Strong Girls and now a member of the Board of Directors of the Girls Inc. of Greater Pittsburgh, she hopes to elevate and empower multiple generations of women and leave a legacy by paying it forward to the next generation!
